A woman is in custody after a standoff with Calgary police in Inglewood on Sunday afternoon.
Just before 4 p.m. police were called to a condo complex in the 0 to 100 block of Inglewood Park S.E. where it was reported that a woman with a weapon was attempting to gain entry to a number of units in the building.
The woman got into one of the units and the occupants fled without being injured. When police arrived, they evacuated the condo building.
After a lengthy standoff police were able to get the woman into custody around 1:30 a.m. and allow the residents back into the building.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
