Calgary police are investigating after a man was discovered outside a Beltline gas station with serious gunshot injuries Saturday night.

Police were called to a scene outside an Esso gas station at 12 Avenue and Macleod Trail S.E. just after 9:00 p.m. Saturday for calls of a shooting victim.

EMS said they transported an adult man to Foothills hospital with serious injuries but in stable, non-life-threatening condition.

Officers called the man who had been shot an “uncooperative victim,” saying little was known at this point but that the shooting is believed to have taken place at a separate location.

Police said there are no suspects yet but an investigation is ongoing.
