Finalists announced for awards recognizing small businesses for resiliency and leadership

A list of finalists for Calgary’s Resilient Business Awards was released by the Calgary Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, recognizing businesses for their determination and community leadership this year.

The chamber is continuing its tradition of honouring small, local businesses that have displayed compassion and resiliency, and that recognition is especially important for businesses working through the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a news release. Each business is being celebrated for its heart, resiliency, grit and leadership.

“Our business community has faced unparalleled disruption and uncertainty through COVID-19,” Murray Sigler, interim CEO of the Calgary Chamber, said in a statement.

“We have heard powerful stories of resilience, and look forward to celebrating Calgary’s entrepreneurial spirit and to recognize the impact COVID-19 has had on our city.”
