Calgary police seek witnesses from February hit-and-run

Calgary police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in a hit-and-run that happened last month.

The incident happened at the intersection of Bowness Road and 73 Street N.W. between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Feb. 19.

Police say a white sedan being driven by a man in his 20s with brown skin tone struck a man crossing the street. The driver then left the scene.

The victim was knocked unconscious and suffered a fractured rib, as well as bruises.

Police do not have any CCTV footage of the intersection. They’re asking anyone with information about this incident to call the non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 or to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
