The CFL Players’ Association will conduct its 2021 annual general meeting virtually.
The union made the announcement Thursday. The AGM is slated to be held Friday and Saturday.
“We have a lot of work to do to give CFLPA members the best opportunity to play a safe 2021 season,” executive director Brian Ramsay said in a statement. “This past year has been one of the most difficult and challenging for our members as well as the history of our association.
“This year’s AGM will be a critical opportunity to bring us together virtually to review and plan the year ahead.”
The CFL was forced to cancel the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The league has released a full 2021 schedule.
