Man in his early 20s dies after shooting in northeast Calgary

Calgary police are investigating after a Friday evening shooting left a man in his early 20s dead.

The man was in life-threatening condition with apparent gunshot wounds when he was dropped off at the Peter Lougheed Centre shortly after 9 p.m. Friday.

He later died in hospital.

Police said they are still trying to determine where the man was shot. Officers have searched the Whitehorn LRT station and a car wash.

Witnesses are currently being questioned, but police have no suspects in custody.
