1 dead after rollover near Bragg Creek

A 44-year-old man is dead after his car rolled over near Bragg Creek, Alta., on Tuesday evening.

RCMP responded to the crash around 5 p.m. on Highway 66, southwest of Bragg Creek near Highway 22.

Police said it’s believed the man was driving south on Highway 66 when his car rolled off the highway and into an embankment filled with water. 

Cochrane RCMP say the 44-year-old man was travelling alone on Hwy. 66 south of Bragg Creek when his car went off the road. (Google Maps)

He was the only occupant of the car, and was found dead at the scene. 

RCMP are investigating, and police say the man’s name will not be released.
